Gabbitas Summer Schools and career workshops.Gabbitas offers a variety of residential and non-residential schools and courses for students from the UK and overseas. Our Business and Language Summer School (taking place 7-24 July 2013) is an opportunity for students to experience life in a UK boarding school and visit key finance, media, law, technology and medicine institutes in the city of London. Our Performing Arts programme (taking place 13-24 July) is delivered by a group of inspirational actors, dancers and directors from the world of stage and on screen. Students will learn behind the scenes secrets whilst taking part in workshops and classes based upon top hit musicals from London's West End.


Gabbitas in the City (taking place 8-12 July, 15-19 July and 19-23 August 2013) offers a range of career experiences located in the heart of the financial and business district in the capital. Visits may include the likes of Bloomberg, Lloyds of London and Deloitte, all providing an excellent opportunity for students aged 14-18 years to find out more about their future career path. Choose from experiences that last from 1-5 days and involve hearing from key professionals and taking tours of market leading companies in finance, law, IT, media, medicine and engineering.

 

Gabbitas Summer Schools Gabbitas in the City

Business and language course - 7-24 July 2013

Learning the fundamental aspects of business and the English language, this course is open to 14-18 year olds who are looking at careers in finance, law, engineering, technology, media and architecture.

The course spends five days in London, visiting the top firms and companies before heading to Ardingly College, where students will learn more about these two key subjects.

Performing Arts course - 13-24 July 2013

The Gabbitas Performing Arts course is a vital school for all aspiring actors, singers, dancers and performers. Open to 11-16 year olds, this is an essential look at the entertainment industry and gives students the chance to hone their skills.

With top names from stage and film providing top-quality advice, this course will not only give students tips of the trade, but also let them hone their English language skills with professional performance artists.
