A remarkable feat indeed – made even more significant with the fact that they are a set of quadruplets!

Identical sisters Toks and Temi Ogunsanya joined their younger twin brothers, Tobi and Tolu, at Warwick Arts Centre for the graduation ceremony and are all now gearing up for careers in the banking and professional services.  The quads, originally from Lagos, Nigeria, boarded at Walkers House at Godstowe in Buckinghamshire between 1996 and 2002.

Toks graduated with an MEng in Manufacturing and Engineering while Temi gained an MSc in Management from Warwick Business School: both now work in the banking sector in London. Tobi and Tolu meanwhile, the youngest of foursome, both received an MSCin Management from Warwick Business School. Tobi is mulling over offers to work at some top City firms while Tolu is set to start in a major accountancy firm.

Tobi claimed the foursome were not above a bit of sibling rivalry when it comes to their academic prowess. He said: “The fact we all chose to study at the University of Warwick was a natural decision as we are a close-knit family and we were all attracted by the strength of the courses on offer.

“But of course as with any family, there can be a bit of competition between us when it comes to our studies. We like to think of it as a healthy rivalry – and we all supported each other through the course. And now we’ve all graduated together, it means that our mum is four times as proud of us.”

A great day for Tolu, Temi, Tokes and Tobi Ogunsanya. Picture credit: University of WarwickMaria Pascual, Housemistress of Walker House at Godstowe, had a close relationship with the sisters. She said: "Temi and Tocks were very loving, playful, friendly and full of humour. They wore glasses with different colours (red and blue) to help the staff to differentiate one from the other but at times, they will change their glasses around to confuse their teachers. That trick never worked with me, as I knew them even from the back! They were always smiling and they were lovely to everyone, polite and very well mannered.

"Although we have had several sets of twins boarding over the years, we never had quads so it was double cute whenever Tobi and Tolu joined their sisters in Walker house, before going on their school holidays.

"Both girls were very sporty and used to compete against each other, the natural sibling rivalry. Temi came back to Godstowe two or three years ago when we had the Godstowe reunion and I saw her after that again.

"Although the time has passed very fast, we have kept the contact over the years and it was not long ago when I got an email from their mother letting me know the fantastic news of their graduation. I am very pleased with their success and I wish all four the best!"
