Entry Procedure
UK Students
Full details and examination dates see admissions section of school website. For entry at 10 and 11+: Report from current school plus examination at Oakham in January for the following September. For 13+ entry: Common Entrance or Oakham Entrance Examination (CE pass mark 55%). For 16+ entry: Report and character reference from current school Head. 7 grade B or higher at GCSE with minimum of B grades in subject to be studied.
Overseas Students
Same as UK applicants, but candidates may sit the examination at their own school abroad. Those whose first language is not English may be required to take Oakham’s English Language test.
