Entry Procedure

UK Students

Entry: 10, 11, 13 or 16 years. Examinations: 10 and 11+ entrance and scholarships: January (Lower School pupils reaching the required standards gain automatic entrance to the Middle School). 13+ Common Entrance: June. Overseas Students

Around 10% overseas students. Oakham has extensive experience of pupils whose parents live abroad. International students benefit from the advantages of an Oakham education. We, in turn, benefit hugely from their presence and our lives are greatly enriched by the diversity of our pupil body and the opportunity to explore each other’s beliefs and cultures.
