The Sennocke Centre is a £7 million sports facility opened in 2005 by Dame Kelly Holmes. Contains: multi-purpose sports hall accommodating two full size basketball courts, eight badminton courts, eight cricket lanes with 1000 lux lighting and floor markings for many other activities; 25-metre six-lane swimming pool; dance and aerobics studio; three squash courts; a fitness suite; indoor tennis courts and a climbing wall.
Drama, Art, Music
The Space, which opened in 2010, is a performing arts centre for Sevenoaks School and the wider community. Contains: an auditorium large enough for a symphony orchestra, choir and an audience of 450, with acoustics by Arup; a recital room for chamber music; a drama studio and renovated theatre, with a tension wire grid; 17 individual sound-proofed teaching rooms; a drums room; a recording studio, and a world music room.
