Based in Oxford, St Clare’s is a co-educational day and boarding school offering courses in languages and liberal arts plus teacher training courses and the International Baccalaureate. Over 40 nationalities are represented and the college promotes an informal but professional atmosphere. The college is in an attractive setting with well equipped facilities for students and London and several major airports such as Heathrow and Gatwick are very assessable. with well equipped facilities for students.
The college has been formally rated as “outstanding” for the quality of its overall boarding facilities and students consistently achieve excellent examination results helped by small class sizes and experienced teachers. The record of success is reflected in the fact that the college has a first class record of many students progressing on to highly respectable universities both in the UK and abroad.
The college has some 225 students and the campus is made up of two centres in an attractive part of Oxford to the North of the City. The international make up of the students is reflected in the ethos of the college in encouraging all students to pursue their education in a spirit of open mindedness and tolerance for the view points of other fellow students.
