Sport
Awarded the Sportsmark and the Activemark for consistent high quality PE at both Senior and Junior level. St. Mary's believes in sport for all and in finding physical activities for each girl that she can enjoy and that will last all her life. We belong to the School Sport Partnership, which enables us to take part in many sporting activities with other local schools such as mini Olympics, circus workshops and games festivals. We also offer a wide range of extracurricular PE activities from streetdance, kick boxing and rugby to gymnastics, netball and ballet. The very popular annual Dance and Gymnastics Show involves girls of all ages from both Senior and Junior houses.
Drama, Art, Music
St. Mary's has an excellent Art department in a bright, airy studio on top of the Science block. We hold biennial exhibitions of GCSE and A level coursework at the Wycombe Swan Art Gallery. Music and Drama are also important at St. Mary's with regular productions, concerts and recitals. Choirs and orchestras take part in regional and county festivals and often win prizes. Music scholarship girls have played in London and Moscow with international orchestras.
