“Anonymity is frequently the enemy of learning” - At Wickham Court School, no one is anonymous and all of our pupils are treated as unique individuals. We know that they have talents and abilities and aspirations. They have promise. It is our job to help them discover and build on that promise. Small class sizes are essential, and our commitment to each pupil is reflected in our determination to ensure that no one is ever lost in a Wickham Court classroom. For us, having small classes is not a luxury, it is an essential for learning to flourish. Our small classes ensure interaction between teacher and pupil and between pupil and peer. We are also committed to the 'basics.' A thorough grounding in English, science, mathematics, and foreign languages provide pupils with the confidence to unlock many doors and thereby to tap their full potential. Our pupils explore their creative sides through the study of art, music, dance and drama. Information technology forms a very important part of our pupils' education as well as french and Spanish from early years on.
