Pastoral Care
We welcome all the pupils into a happy family atmosphere, where we know they will thrive and be encouraged to fulfill their potential. We know that pupils have talent, abilities and aspirations. They have promise. It is our job to help them discover and build on that promise. Small class sizes are essential, and our commitment to each pupil is reflected in our determination to ensure that no one is ever lost in a Wickham Court classroom. For us, having small classes is not a luxury, it is an essential for learning to flourish. Our small classes ensure interaction between teacher and pupil and between pupil and peer. We are a non-selective school where academic achievement is important and every pupil is valued as an individual, because childhood is too short and too precious to be wasted. We can care for your child all year round with the exception of one week at Christmas and on bank holidays. We have a very flexible approach and, in the nursery classes, we can arrange the times that suit you, costed accordingly. Every child at Wickham Court is cherished and we take great pride in the family atmosphere that exists throughout the school.
